I've used this tool in the past and tried to find it again. The company's
website - www.mutek.com - doesn't work, so I am wondering if they are still
in business?

They changed their name to Identify and suddenly became harder to find.

If you like BugTrapper you may also like Crash Validator from Software
Verification.
