Hello all,

I'm busy with the finalisation of a font called Mokum Stad. It still
takes some tweaking and twiddling, but a sneak preview can be had at
my weblog:

http://fontenwerkplaats.blogspot.com/

And as always, reactions are most welcome

Cheers

I like it! The only thing I would change is the top left part of the
"f", I would prefer this part rounded.

Hi Désiré,

Good point. I got similar advice already by emial and started to adapt
the f. But then I had to do the t and j as well, followed by the e, o,
u et cetera. The result: a font without nostalgic aspects.

My reason for doing it the way I did was: to preserve the slant that
is present in the upper case (an angle of approximately 70 degrees).

I got another idea, though, that I will try to work out. Please bear
with me, it could take another week.

Cheers

Hi,

Actually it took more than a week to design the new lower case portion
of the font. Please have a look and let me know what you think!

Hi Richard!

I think your small caps option is far more coherent. Good job!

Hello all

It took some time, but now I finished the font Mokum Stad.
To download it, go to:

http://home.tiscali.nl/r_keijzer/lettertypes_english.htm

and click on the appropriate button. And yes, I would like to know if
you did something nice with it. Don't be shy, send me a picture of
your work, which I can then publish on my weblog:

http://fontenwerkplaats.blogspot.com/

Happy holidays and the best wishes for 2009!!

Richard
