hi,
Recently i have started using CCS3.3 , im refering to "dsp
applications using C and TMS320C6x" by Rulph Chassaing, but the book
doesnt seem to help me gain proficiency. Can any one please suggest me
a book or some guidelines on the way i should proceed for learning
this software.

Have you tried the online help? The TI documentation? I don't know of
very many books on how to use CCS; most people just figure it out on
their own. It's similar to Microsoft Visual Studio.
