Hello. I'm new to this group, so I hope you'll bear with me.

I'm trying to extract bitmaps from fonts we have from an old Xerox
4235. Nominally this emulates a 4135 in Production Print Mode, but
the fonts I have don't match the format of a Metacode font. The font
header seems to be the same through the FST, but the bitmaps are
different - they are shorter than they are supposed to be, and they
contain a lot of repeated characters that make no sense as bitmap
data. At first I thought the bitmaps might be compressed, and spent
some time looking at that, but they didn't seem to make sense that way
either, although it's still possible. I now suspect the fonts are in
some sort of vector format. Does anyone know?

Any help or pointers appreciated.

Thanks.
