|
|
hi all,
you know the Sketchy font ? (ie. http://www.dafont.com/sketchy.font)
on some char, it has the "large-part" in an unusual place (ie. A, M,
N, etc.)
I want to make a poster with on the left side a finished look and on
the right side an unfinished look.
so I'm looking for a font that would look like the Sketchy font but
not hand-drawn.
any idea ?
TIA,
Pierre |

Yes, but is that the kind of style you're looking for? |

Sketchy but not hand-drawn?
By the time you have posted the question and waited for the reply you would have made the characters yourself. Just print the text, put tracing paper over it and sketch away. Scan trace and use.

I'm looking for a font for which Sketchy could be the sketched out/
hand-drawn version in a preparatory work/design.

Now I get it. Then simply select a typeface you want to use, print it and sketch it.
You probably can make much better sketches than Sketchy has and the result will be much better than just using a font. Especally because no two characters will be alike.
But of course only if you need just a few characters.
