Hi All,

I am seeking some general ideas about approaches to implement machine
learning in game software that I am writing. The basic problem is:
discover the best sequence of clues for solving a given game. I have a
database of played games on which I can apply the algorithm. The data
is fairly simple, but I anticipate having very large amounts of data,
on the order of 10's of millions of played games. For each game I have
a series of events. The events are either clues or guesses. I would
like the machine learning algorithm to account for which clues, the
order of their appearance, and the time between clues. It would have
to do something like minimize the number of clues and the overall
time.

If anyone has any general areas of machine learning practise which
come to mind as applicable, I would love to hear them!.

Thanks, Phil.
