After 14 years preparation, the Chinese Anti Monopoly Law have finally
released. This law have provide a legal guarantee for those nationwide
software providers in China to fight against monopoly. Chinese software
companies would get a broad living space, and the users would have a
favorable program in the good competition. However, does the Chinese
software companies could seize the chance and have a better development?
We are looking forward on this.
In recent years, the scale and development speed of the software industry
have exceeded that of the Indian industry. But the software company is
comparatively in a small scale and lack of competition power. Some of the
important market(especially the infrastructure software) have been
monopolized by the foreign programs. Firstly they entered the market using
the pirate policy, the Chinese software loose the market gradually, then
they hold the flag to fight against the pirate but sold the program at a
high charge. Chinese software companies do not benefit from this, Chinese
users do not either. But now, with the law of anti pirate and anti
monopoly, Chinese companies can have a better chance than ever, to
compete, to develop, and if necessary, to protect themselves.
In the CAD industry, GreatStar have been acquainted by the CAD users in
Chinese and foreign countries, However, it is difficult to have a better
development due to the inequitable competition. In face of the good
chance, GreatStar have done everything they could to seek a good
development. At one side, they have upgrade and improve the program
GStarICAD(http://www.staricad.com), at the other side, they paid much more
attention on the services and gathered the efforts on every side to serve
the users better. Though the Chinese CAD software could only take up 10%
of the total market share at the moment, But under the efforts of every
CAD companies, a huge space is just in the near future.
