We are proud to announce the release of Resolver One, version 1.2 - a
spreadsheet for people who want the capabilities of a programming
language without having to rewrite their spreadsheets as code.
For version 1.2, we have one big headline feature; a new function
called RunWorkbook that allows you to "call" one spreadsheet from
another, passing in parameters and pulling out results - just like
functions in a programming language, but without having to code
anything by hand. This allows you to mix spreadsheet-based and code-
based logic, at each point using the best paradigm for the job in
hand. For example, you might model your company's cashflow in one
spreadsheet, then create another spreadsheet that ran the first one
multiple times with different assumptions about future business
conditions, showing you the outcome of each set of assumptions.
We've also added a whole bunch of usability enhancements - the full
(long!) changelist is up on our website, or you can see a screencast
explaining all of the new features: <http://www.resolversystems.com/

It's free for non-commercial use, so if you would like to take a look,
you can download it from our website:

Best regards,
Giles
